Steve brings a wealth of experience and a passion for client service to Uwharrie Bank. After graduating from the University of Connecticut with a major in finance and a minor in real estate, he found his calling in mortgage lending. Steve began his career in the mortgage industry in late 2004 in White Plains, New York. Seeking new opportunities and experiences, he moved to San Diego, California, where he continued to excel in his originating career for nearly two decades.

In this new chapter of his life, Steve, along with his wife and young family, have returned to the East Coast, settling in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. They are thrilled to be back, closer to their extended families, and to raise their children in a familiar environment. Steve is excited to join Uwharrie and embrace their principles.
